It's the perfect place for a quick pit stop while exploring the city, and you can also grab some delectable cakes to take home. Kritikos Fournos is a renowned bakery chain in Heraklion, offering a wide variety of delicious pastries and treats. The menu has a great selection including “healthy food”. I used to come frequently for studying and having a sweet on the side. Bread was 9,50€ and pancakes 6€. If you want to try traditional Greek coffee, this is the place to visit.
Kind staff, we got dessert and a fruit salad on the house. The food is highly recommended, with delicious options like beef tagliata and homemade sweet potatoes. Lokal is a cozy and inviting restaurant with a great selection of drinks, including cocktails, beers, and whiskey. Other dishes are amazing too, so I had a meal there almost every day! Even the accompanying salad was a delight, and I never eat salad.

Amazing experience definitely going again !!!! I loved the decor and music especially and how they continued to be positive towards all the costumers!!! The first time we came we were greeted by someone I believe was called Armando and he was so welcoming and nice. The staff are friendly and accommodating, ensuring that customers have a pleasant experience. The only one disturbing thing is too loud music and ventilator inside that cuts the light and not pleasant for eyes. I was also happy with my salad and cheese pie.

I wqs really enjoy my time here. They have a wide variety of sweet and savory pastries as well as sourdough bread that's highly recommended. If you want to find some really good pastries near the Heraklion Archaeological Museum, you should visit this place. It's definitely worth a visit for a great coffee experience! We visited this place three times because the staff was truly amazing. We visited around 5 times in 3 days 😂.
We ordered a hookah at each visit here and had a wonderful time. My favorite dish that I got here was the salmon salad, which was perfectly refreshing and tasty. All 3 dishes were full of flavor and very enjoyable. We went here three times during our three night stay in Heraklion.
Everything that seems quirky or unique on the menu is excellent and worth a try (breakfasts, cakes, spellshakes… ). Best themed café restaurant in Heraklion. Visitors rave about their "no sugar" options and savory pastries, including spanakopita and tylixti tyropita.

The bougatsa here is decent, with the goat option being quite cheesy and the spinach variation being slightly salty but enjoyable. Excellent breakfast, with local delicacies served daily from 7am till 11am. In the middle of Heraklion Centre, wonderful access to restaurants and shops in commercial streets.

It’s the kind of place you come to meet friends, study, or just enjoy a quiet coffee. I absolutely love the vibe here – аlways friendly staff, amazing food and drinks, such a cozy atmosphere, and a great location. Both times I opted for an omelette without bread to be safe for gluten free, and they were delicious!! Its something I have been looking for in Greece for some time now.

Everything was perfect and made our morning.
We got a free dessert of ice cream and sweet pancake, together with a bottle of raki. The locale was very small but picturesque and cozy. The staff was very welocming and friendly and translated the Greek menu for us. Small plates filled with deliciousness, except the salad which was quite sizeable.
We had the chicken, kebabs, fries and Greek salad. Such a treat to enjoy this lovely spot! However, the list doesn't tell you exactly what the dishes are. Ordering was easy, as you just write the number of dishes you want on a printed list. Since I was in a port town, I was looking for a seafood restaurant, but nearby restaurants were closed, so I went into this place.
